This site is written to conform to W3C guidelines  on web accessibility, and to obey the statutes of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 . So you can use your own colours, text sizes and style sheets to give your own look and feel to the site.

The best place to look for how to do this is the BBC site - My Web My Way but below are some simple tips.

changing text sizes.

internet explorer.

Go to the "View" menu - then "Text Size" - choose the size you want.

firefox.

If your mouse has a middle scroll wheel, the easiest way to change your text size is to hold down the "Ctrl" (control) key and roll your mouse's middle scroll wheel.

Otherwise go to the "View" menu - then "Text Size" - then make the size smaller or larger from the menu. You can do this several times. You can also do this by holding the "Ctrl" key and pressing the "+" or "-" buttons to make the text bigger or smaller.
